Our commitment
Koho Consulting wants every visitor to be able to read our content, reach our team, and use the tools on this site. We treat accessibility as an ongoing practice rather than a one-time check, and we design and build with it in mind from the start.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. This site is built to be substantially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the standard widely adopted by organizations and governments. “Substantially conformant” means we meet that standard across the parts of the site we build and control, with the possible exception of the third-party content noted below.
How we build for accessibility
Concretely, across the site we:
- Structure pages semantically. Each page uses a single main content region, labeled sections, and a logical heading order, so screen readers and other assistive technology can navigate it predictably.
- Support the keyboard. Links, buttons, the navigation menu, forms, the podcast player, and the on-site assistant can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone — no mouse required.
- Show focus clearly. A high-contrast outline marks whichever element currently has keyboard focus, so you always know where you are.
- Respect reduced motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, animations and auto-playing movement are turned off.
- Mind color and contrast. Text and essential controls are chosen to meet AA contrast ratios, and we don’t rely on color alone to convey meaning.
- Reflow and zoom. Layouts adapt to small screens and stay usable when text is enlarged or the page is zoomed.
- Describe images. Meaningful images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
Known limitations
Some functionality relies on services we don’t control. In particular, booking a call takes you to Microsoft 365 Bookings, whose scheduling interface is maintained by Microsoft. We are not aware of significant accessibility barriers in the parts of the site we build ourselves; if a third-party tool gets in your way, we will help you finish the task another way — see below.
